DFW Summer Send Off Parties for 2022 are in the book!   Our Dallas and Tarrant alumni chapters hosted 2 parties:  at Texas Star Pavilion in Euless on Saturday, July 23 and at Flagpole Hill Pavilion on Saturday, July 30.

We welcomed incoming freshmen for the LSU Class of 2026.  These parties give the students and their parents a chance to meet others in their class, chat with current enrolled students, and visit with LSU alums.   The kids all left with goodie bags filled with LSU “swag”, gift cards from Raising Cane’s, t-shirts, and “LSU Bound” signs for their front yard.

Each chapter held a drawing and gave a $250.00 cash award to a student in attendance.  Pictured below is Dallas Chapter President Kyle Wall with the 2 recipients:   Skylar Conley from Mansfield Lake Ridge High School and Chloe Berry from Rock Hill High School in Prosper.

Our DFW area is sending a record number of 228 kids to LSU this Fall. Of this group, nearly 50% of them received some type of scholarship totalling $6.4 million over 4 years ! LSU is recruiting great Texas Tigers, and as always, scholarships are the key.
