MEET OUR 2016 DALLAS LEGACY SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT

01a057842f3f0354528b266829b531fd4cf723cf02 (1)Matthew Lambert from Grapevine HS is our Dallas Chapter’s 2016 Legacy Scholarship Recipient.  He is a quadruplet (one brother and two sisters), all of who will be attending LSU this fall – talk about “empty nest” at the Lamberts!!  He and his brother, Stephen, will be majoring in chemical engineering, while his sisters, Amy and Joanna, will be majoring in wetland science and horticulture respectively.  While at Grapevine High School, Matthew was involved in football (inside linebacker 4 years), band (percussion 9th grade), National Honor Society, French Club and French National Honor Society.  Just for fun, Matthew has mastered most every college team’s mascot, and he does one “mean Steve Irwin impression”!  The Lamberts are a “house divided”, with dad, Henry, an LSU alum and mom, Rachel, an Alabama alum…GEAUX TIGERS!  We hope this is a good omen that LSU is going to start winning over Alabama.

Congratulations to Matthew and all the new Lambert Texas Tigers!   Because of all of you who have worked so hard helping to endow our Dallas Legacy Scholarship, the  recipients receive $2000/year for 4 years – THANKS!
