Hey, Texas Tigers! Of that number, 212 are registered or have attended summer orientation, so that's a pretty good indication they will enroll this fall. That is the largest class we've ever had, and that's all because our alumni have been so diligent about recruiting -- from manning tables at College Nights last fall to writing postcards to ALL 856 admitted students. The last thing we'll do for the Future LSU Class of 2014 is to host our annual Summer Send Off Parties. This gives the new students and parents a chance to visit with LSU Alumni and meet other "Texas Tigers" in the area before they head to Baton Rouge in the fall. This year's parties will be held: Thursday, July 29, 2010 - 7 p.m. Sherlock's Restaurant Park Lane and Central Expressway, Dallas Wednesday, August 4, 2010 - 7 p.m. Fox N Hound Restaurant Bryant Irvin and I-20, Ft. Worth The new Texas Tigers can choose which party fits their schedule best, and we're encouraging you LSU Alumni to come and give them a great Tiger Send Off! THANKS AGAIN for all the help. It's almost time to start recruiting next year's class, so be watching for more information giving dates and locations for the upcoming College Night programs -- starting September, 2010. |
