Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! On behalf of our Dallas chapter, we want to extend our wishes for a blessed Thanksgiving for all of our fans and alums alike. For those of you leaving the area this week to join family and friends, have a safe journey wherever you may be headed and relish the blessings that we have been afforded throughout the years. We still live in the greatest democracy on Earth and have been given more liberties and freedom thanks to the sacrifices of many.

After the dullness wore off (or has it?) from Saturday's outcome, we realized that Arkansas was peaking at the same time that we were licking our wounds and counting our injuries. A talented and deep team like our Tigers must find a way to get by without our top 3 running backs for 2 more games this year- Arkansas and our bowl game.  I expect that Russell Sheppard will be used more frequently than in the past due to the lost of Keiland Williams with a fractured ankle. The speed of Mighty Mite, Trindon Holliday, now needs to be utilized more than ever before.

While our kickoff is scheduled for 6 PM on Saturday afternoon, the importance of this victory has greater implications for those of us in the Dallas area. A 9-3 season would in all likelihood garner our Tigers an invitation for the Cotton Bowl. So to make sure that happens, plan to attend our watch parties at both Sherlock's and Fox & Hound this Saturday and let's end this season of great promise on a high note. Bring your family and friends and let's have the largest turnout since the Florida game at both.

Enjoy the festivities and we'll cya on Saturday! Geaux Tigers!
