Happy Safe New Year and less than 48 hours to kickoff! May 2010 be your best year ever. And to start off the '10s, plan to shake off the cob webs of the 0h-0h decade and join us for our Bloody Mary Bars at both Fox & Hound as well as Sherlock's as we get ready for the 10th victory of the 2009 season and the 1st in the new decade.

Penn State has been in Orlandeaux since before Christmas so they are ready to roll. But our Tigers are back to top condition health wise (give or take a few running backs with broken bones) so the explosions that we came to enjoy are primed, cocked and ready to set the stage for our National Championship run in 2010. You can deaux your part and bring family and friends to create our cheering sections at both watch locations. Wear purple and gold and let's rock the houses. Be there when the doors open at 11 and don't forget your membership cards.

This weekend begins our membership drive for the 2010-2011 year. While our fiscal year begins from 5/1 through 4/30, we offer an extended membership beginning today. All memberships purchased, both new or renewal, are now for the 2010-2011 year. That way you get more for your buck- 16 months instead of 12. Your memberships will allow you to get the 20% discount at both locations starting this week and will be good 24/7 through 4/30/11.

One change that you will notice is that we have created two membership classifications- individual and family. The annual dues for an individual remains at $25. For a family of 2, your membership is now $35 and both members will receive a 2010-2011 membership card. That way each can use their card whenever they are at our watch locations. On Friday, you will receive a temporary membership card good for the balance of our fiscal year and will receive a laminated 2010 card at or around the crawfish boil. (Mark your calendar- Saturday, April 17, 2010.) You can renew or join on our website if for some unexplainable reason you can't be in attendance!

To renew your membership, log into our website at http://www.lsualumnidallas.com/log-yourself-in.html.  If you do not remember your user name or password, click the "Forgot Login?" link and you can retrieve your user id and password.  Once logged in, click the "Want to Become a Member?" image at the top of the screen and you will be directed to the renewal page.
